Idea's are need of the time. Innovators are the real succeedors. Who knew by switching on a button, a light can be generated. Thats the difference. We should support such things, it is good for the country.

Mr. Nirmal Balia,
He may speak broken English, but he can be trained to speak like Lord Birkenhead within two years. That is all it takes to attain high proficiency. Most of the MBAs are glib speakers who cannot write with style.

FARMING.... BEST OCCUPATION
by chandrashekar nayak on Apr 25, 2012 06:30 PM  | Hide replies

Farming is THE best occupation. If the land holding is atleast 10 hectares and farming is taken up in a scientific manner,it is very profitable. Of late, there is accute labour problem facing the farming community, thanks to ill-conceived NREGA scheme of Madam Maino.Agricultural Labourers are not willing to work in fields these days as they are being fed by the Government, though only 25% of the money reaches them and balance goes to the pockets of officials and the politicians. Otherwise, there is future and career in farming.I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification but I have chosen to be a farmer.I am into farming since last 10 years and I earn about rs 20.00 lacs pa (net)from 20 acres of land. This income is tax-free income. people should re-look at career option in farming.Large area of cultivable land is being left un-cultivated at rural places which are available for purchase.a group of 10-15 people should come together, form a group and go for atleast 100 acres of land so that farming can be mechanised to reduce dependence on manual labour. In next 10-15 years, there will be severe food crisis in the world and it is right time to shift focus back to farming...India's core strenghth.

Fantastic. Co-operative farming is the essence for successful farming. In India most of the farmers are small land holders thus, the farming is not lucarative. By forming a group, as you said, mechanisation can be adopted to increase productivity reducing the labour cost and this will be profitable to farmers.

Cooperative Farming is an arm in Maharashtra Politics look at giants like Sharad Pawar they wouldnt have been so big if they didnt have Cooperative Farming. Those who have adopted have grown and will grow.

by D goel on Apr 25, 2012 03:45 PM

D. goel pkl. aafternoon 3.40pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
like many urban denizensme too isfinding it difficult thatsomeone Like an MBA from IIM Ahemdabad instead of workingfor some bigger capital intensive firm Indian or Multinational has chosen to go in for organisig Vegetable Marketing, aperishable commodity partiularly in dusty hot storages in Naland or patna distrixcts.
i wonder , if Kaushalendrawould be able to actually deliver without some ambani or mafatlal group of capital investers underwriting capital required for chain of
storages thatcouldextend tjeshelf life of perishable Vegetables, to achieve the goalsthathe seeks to bring.
theindigent farmers havefamiliarly any choice to sellhis products immediately to meet hisdaily needs.Kaushendra musttieup with Banks orat leastsome cooperative Banks to make his Planstruly make some dent intoneeds of Small vegetable -cultivators,Else heshall be soon disillsioned, which i will hate to see.
Hope some Good advice is given by really Retail chain Executives to still young entrepreneur from Patns.
