Honda Motorcycles in India remind of a typical Trader
by Argumentative Indian on Apr 30, 2012 10:28 AM

who exploits his customers as much as possible.

Honda has long had some great motorcylces in their stable. However, in their collaboration with Hero, for more than two decades now, they steadfastly refused to bring anything above the HH Karizma to India, even as a CKD.

Even after the split they focussed on Unicorn, Stunner, Shine etc.

As a policy, they have never taken the Indian market seriously. They do not feel we deserve the best they have to offer.

I understand the common man will only be able to afford the Unicorn. However, I do believe that a company should respect its customers and actively participate in developing a culture of its lifestyle products.

Hand it over to Harley Davidson, to step in to India finally, even though they are a far, far smaller company than Honda worldwide with much less resources, at least they have given us an opportunity to see, touch and feel great bikes.

I love Honda motorcycles for their great manufacturing quality, but given an alternative, would never buy one, because of their disrespect for the Indian market.

In INDIA, HONDA is producing BAD quality vehicles
by JAAGRUK INSAAN on Apr 29, 2012 05:20 PM

Quality while in MASS production at HMSI plant in GURGAON is quite BOGUS as compared to other brand.

The ENGINE of a HONDA twister, SHINE or UNICORN gets opened even in the first month or even before delivering to customer at dealer showroom itself, SO POOR is the quality of HONDA vehicles since produced in MASS Production.

No Proper WARRANTy SUPPORT by HONDA & teh whole blame is shifted on Dealers . Even a single Engineer from HONDA doesn't turn up to resolve any engine related problem.

WHAT is the use of buying a HONDA vehicle then ?

Why not go for other BRANDS where SERVICE is BETTER and ENGINE is GOOD & does'nt get opened for years and the company bothers for WARRANTY support to the customers.

Is it not the right thought ?

ban bikes
by subbu on Apr 25, 2012 04:20 PM  | Hide replies

bikes should first of all be banned. they are the reason for all traffic problems. ban tata indica, force india vans, pcikup trucks like tata magic and autos also. these contribute mainly to the current traffic problems in all cities. especially bike fellows are very egoistic and occupy every inch of the road. these guys go to the extreme left in the signal when they have to take a right turn and in turn delay all vehicles coming from behind. most of them dont have rear view mirrors and take random left or right turns without putting indicators and cause biggest nuissance. rediff should stop promoting bikes
