Future of hockey seems to be bright in the country now. The recently concluded WSH is set attract many new sporting talents to join hockey. There is lot of money in this championship. The winning team Sher-E-Punjab lifted 4 crore , runners up 2 Crore and semi finalists 1 crore each. The Rockstar player got 1 crore reward. So, money has started raining in this 70 minute very high paced and spectacular game.

Pillay had himself made his mission to revive the dying flame of hockey in past severalyrs.One hopes boys from under-class zas Valmiki could truly revive our hockey heritage , which is now a dying Flame ,regrettably for past several olympics. u r an illiterate beggar.if u could read then u would know that he was earning 3500 as a player for bank of india!
he managed to get trough but there could be hundreads who are demotivated daily and then give up the hope... such is the condition of indian hockey ... for that matter all the sports in india... including cricket..
He is the right player for Indian Hockey... Hope he continues his love to this game and contributes to it... Indian govt must look into other sport and give a boost to it.
Such budding & deserving players should be motivated & helped financially to give their best for the hockey & the country.India needs such talented players.I hope Sahara Group who have adopted hockey should come forward to help this budding player.
