Just live life naturally, stop being driven by technology, use it only for guidance, not way of life.

Prevention is better than cure, but our doctors are not interested in that instead prescribing more drugs.

Walk, climb steps, cycling, eat healthy, etc - these are not something very hard to do, but with Every APP we are becoming more like APE

Obesity among young children

It may appear harsh and uncouth but the folly of children becoming obese lies with their "mothers". React one would - but sit back and look through the smoke and the mist- eating habits are the made from the cookings done by the mother on the demands by the family.
India is a country of 300 and more million middle class people. And it is the lady of the house - who also is many a times a working women starts getting hitched to the junk food eating as she is spared the misery (if I may say so) of cooking when she comes back late.
The surplus money in today's households of working parents is normally getting spent on eating bought food and not cooked at home.
Then there is the pressure of setting things right through Quick Fix methods - giving in to the wrong demands of the young ones or bribing them by meeting their palettes yearnings of junk food.
Children eat what is purchased by the parents and what is cooked by the mother - or by a cook on the instructions of the mother.
Thus it is important that today's education system, without getting in the right or wrong of the matter, should focus this issue on all the young children - diet and good food eating habits - and also teach and coach young girls in formal healthy cooking - it may be a task but a nation is paying a big price for the wrong education being imparted and influencing the younger generation.
The role of the socity will also undergo a change in mindset - are the reults of environment awareness not showi

It is bakery food
by Tom Dick on Apr 17, 2012 09:24 AM

If you notice, you will find parents returning from work stop by their favourite bakery and buy bakery items for their children. Children, after a day at school is very happy to have the tasty bakery items without realising the amount of oil in it. Parents, though they know, conveniently forget that baker food for their children is bad, keep on buying it because of their laziness to cook some healthful snacks for their kids. Why blame others..just blame yourself if your child is obese.

Because our Police were obese they were able to catch kasab
by Tamil Lover on Apr 16, 2012 03:48 PM  | Hide replies

All remember how kasab was caught ? Not by using weapons. The police man used his weight to sit and lay on top of kasab this preventing him to shoot further. So in one way obese is good for India, since they dont want to give adequate ammunition to the army and police.

The main reason for obesity in today's world is the fast food habits of our children like burgers and pizzas, etc. You always see these joints full in the afternoon and evening meal time.

By Liposuction, draw out all the fat from the obese and inject it in hungry/frail people. Problem solved.
