I congratulate Shah Rukh Khan for having the guts to be so direct and so truthful about his experience and perspective on life.
While this speech may not please many high-brow ivory towers' folks, many feet-on-the-ground folks (including me) may find it a very educative lecture.
I think it has lots of earthy current-day wisdom with mantras for material success in the world. It also emphasizes that real lasting happiness comes from giving and receiving unconditional love (parents and kids were his examples).
I am STUNNED by his BARING so much of his personal life for the benefit of the community - It was like: Take it or leave it, this is what I am - the TRUTH, the full TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH.
I salute Shah Rukh Khan for being such a courageous TRUTH-TELLER.

Well said iyer. I am happy that there are a few sensible people like you in the u like majority losers of rediff boards.
So, Ambani's daughter is introducing, came in Ambani's private jet. Yel gives a bum as long as they get the Money. This is the status of Mr. Khan. What is the difference in paid publicity in this where suddenly he is being compared with Noble laureate!!! India is sure to be superpower!!!!

Guest speaker ship was arranged because Ambani's and other fits the bill of endowment. So its a paid publicity. Its all money. My only concern is they way he and other (inidna media) portray him close to Nobel Laureate is simply sick!! and his immigration search stories is more sick! The man need attention and a publicity Hungary. His action speaks louder than what he pretend. He is successful, no doubt but when you compare him to noble laureate, I mean C'on!!!!
