The advice provided in the article is good but very difficult to implement. It can be implemented comparatively easily by someone who is yet to start a career but for someone who is in his 30s, having a small family, who was academically average, somehow managed to do his MBA from a 2nd rung MBA institution, working in a reputable company and getting a CTC of Rs. 12 lacs and upwards, having a 5-day-week office schedule, office not very far away from home, etc. etc. will find it enormously difficult to either switch job or career. Nearly impossible.

& if by chance you happen to be the kin of a bigwig hotshot, then no need to study or do jobs at all.
We have to agree that more than 95% of the people are there in their jobs because of the money and the security that it provides month-on-month. Less than 5% will actually be working because they are really enjoying what they are doing. A few months ago, on television, there was career counseling for students who had completed their 10th standard. There were about 10-12 of them and 3 experienced faculties of that multi-career institution. One child, just about 16 years posed an impudent question to the panelists this way – ‘Recommend to me a Course whereby I can make maximum money in the minimum possible time.’ I was completely appalled and so were the panelists.
