this is the worst list I have seen so far..zurich?? common...have been to this place and it doesnt even come close to great european cities..its just a landing place from where u explore the beauty of swiss..total misleading article..
not a single caribbean island on this list,i am an indian and staying in the caribbean since the last 15 yrs and i have seen about 10 islands namely st.martin, antigua, jamaica, dominca, barbados trust me it beats all the destinations hands down..
The author do not find any place in india? Actualy India is the oldest country who has historical backgroud, great & beautiful himalaya mountain range. To my opinion The list of places mentioned is biased.

Everyone will have his/her choice of holiday destinations.Every country has its own attraction according to the sensibilities of the holidayer. In case you have travelled abroad, particularly European destinations, you would realise that most of those countries maintain their cities, towns and cities clean ,tidy and free of garbage.India sure has attractive places for tourists and there are a large number of monuments and places of historical importance. But so do many places in Egypt,Italy,Greece ,France to name afew.

Tourism is one of the good thing in human life. We should not restrict our boundary to India. Promoting tourism in India is good for the country but it should be supported by better infrastructure and maintanance. One of the place that comes to my mind when i think of tourism is Munnar. What a beautiful place it is. Swiss, Austria, France ... are other things. its worth earning money for tourism!

unfortunately just being old does not qualify..........u need infrastructure, affordability...value for money and regulated tourism. I am an indian and even I feel cheated b y the touts and hasseled by agents and quite frustrated by the lack of basic amenities.......europe and far east are definately much better tourist destinations with a lot more entertainment than Indian spots can provide
