Yeah sameer she probably was more brilliant than you. She just didn't know how to handle her emotions well apparently. Poor baby.
That is what was written in the white board by that girl. So by this you know that she knew very well what she was doing and what the guy will face after she dies. She didnt think about her family. She is such a self centered and selfish girl and her dad says "my daughter was very sensitive to this type of (vulgar) language ". Give me a break. She would have heard that language while walking on the street. why didnt she hung herself then. She is as crazy as her dad is. No one should be blamed except her stupid, self centered daughter" Bottom line: her ego was hurt and that she couldnt take.

well said amitav. she was a stupid girl obviously pampered by her indulgent father. Otherwise, why will she value herself and her life based on what some idiot thinks of her and on his abuses. First of all, she should have showed him the middle finger by posting an equally dismissive message about him on FB. She should have thought of her family as well who were with her all along and who raised her with so much love and sacrifices. stupid girl and this should serve as a warning to all youngsters- if you are dumped so be it, the other person does not deserve you and someone better is waiting for you. Your life is more valuable than what someone else thinks of it.

But let's not use this forum to malign somebody image who has already passed away.
I am with you on importance a indviduals life....but commneting on somebody Truma is very easy...
I find fault with the guy only for his dialogue. He cud have put in the message a lil mild. BUT AS FOR SUICIDE, we can NEVER put the blame on him. The girl must have been too dumb to do that. She seems to highly educated hailing from a well off family and this is how she reacts when an affair breaks up?? SHAME ON HER. she brought shame to her parents who labored all their lives to bring up this girl. One fine morning bcos some idi0tic guy slammed abuse on a Facebook page, she committed suicide. If thats how she reacts, probably she is not fit to live. I have no sympathy for a fool like her. anyways, what I dont understand is rediff making a news of it ...analyzing her profile and all this n0ns3nse.
her parents were intelligent and working in good posts.. she was btech from iit, ex infosys and now iim .. where is all the knowledge she gained ffrom life.. and her parents ..wats the use of the degrees necklace when u can't use 1% of it to real life

fb is surely not at fault.. in that case there would be 1000s of suicides daily as people are breaking up by sms, fb and other insensitive ways

you cannot blame facebook or the guy for her death. if that would be the case most of the guys/girls will be in the lockup. there would be breakup and makeup's happening right now as i put up this comment. The girl is to be blamed for bringing such pain to her parents and others who knew her. She is no kid B.tech, iim infosys..... beats me why she took such step.
It's never a good idea to romanticize suicide like this. I'm sure she was a bright girl, but she clearly had very deep emotional issues. People who are not mentally ill rarely commit suicide. What really needs to be addressed is what the warning signs were -- there must have been some -- and how these should have been tackled. That would be constructive and would help educate people about depression and recognizing when something is very wrong with someone. This piece is just voyeurism, and not very helpful. While it helps to know more about her as someone to be identified with, it is incomplete.

More guys commit suicide in love failure than girls. Does it mean all those girls should be hanged. These girls lead their life without remorse. Though what guy did is wrong girls do it more than guys.
What an intellegent conclusion ! Someone commits suicide because of Facebook , so it is bad , Students failed in exam , commits suicide , so exam is BAD , Unscsseful marrage , go for suicide , marriage is bad , can not cope with job responsiblity , opt for suicide , competition in job is bad ,!!!! ha ha ha , REDIFF STOP SUCH TYPE USELESS SCRIPTS.

Totally agree with you. Facebook is not to be blamed for this. It was started with a nice idea and it clicked. I believe its very common to have relationships getting broken and created in every part of the world. And facebook and some other internet sites created a platform to search for the best. Be it your partner, job or any other aspect of life. I hope the author doesnot have a fb profile or is very new to fb to write such a story without knowing the total benifit of the same.

guys....my conjecture is that rediff meant - it was a break up conveyed through facebook that led to the suicide........ who said.....facebook is bad??? and they havent said anything of that in the article....... this was just a method to attract you to the article..... stop arriving at conclusionsss pleaseeeeeee
