You may have all the support (from husband and family) to quit your job and start freelance writing, it doesnt mean others have that luxury. If you are neck deep in commitments, quitting ones job was never an option! And this is the case for 80 % of the workforce. All these "sophisticated" strategies work only when there is a solid backup support lifeline available from your family for you to cool your heals without having to sweat it out Else, choice has little role in worklife ...get real guys...Job and paycheck are paramount!

Ofcourse the support system is very important. But none of these 'sophisticated' strategies are about cooling your heals. They suggest ways to elongate your working life and not becoming redundant in 10 years. Doing an executive MBA or starting a business are feasible options for all if planned well.
