Guys at rediff!! Pls do your homework before publishing such things. While there might be bogus institutes in the list there are also schools like Indian school of business (ISB) Hyd which is probably only globally ranked biz school in India. There are also other top ranked schools like IMT Ghaziabad in list. As usual the AICTE babus r still in some time wrap on the policy to evaluate what is "bogus" and what is not. And u guys at Rediff do your job!! Do be unprofessional like the guys at AICTE!!
This problem can be solved easily by having a list of colleges and institutes by state and cities which are accredited by All India Council for Technical Education. How hard is to compile a list, put it in database and create a simple search page on AICTE website.
First of all whoever is designing the websites for Government offices need to be hanged. They are some of the worst websites to navigate. - Weird words are used to define sections, - sections are not clearly divided - user need to go thru so many pages to find anything of meaning - most of pages are outdated or contain useless information
