"Nathan's interest in the solar initiative began in 2010 when he learnt of the solar efforts being made in orphanages in India and in the Republic of Chad by Peace Gospel"
Our beloved Lal Bahadur Shastry gave this small advice long time back when he was our PM. Fast for one time in a week. Do we follow this? West or east good advice is always good and good to follow it consistently.

The advice was given by the Shankaracharya of Kanchi, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi, who is known as the 'sage of Kanchi',who lived for hundred years.

Do your homework properly to know what Hindu Ashrams are doing! There can be no comparison!Xtians are only marketing their religion. But we are doing genuine service/seva to promote our hindu way of life, which had been forgotten by the people due to the fake secularism propagated by self-serving polticians.
What else to say. Another missionary. What crap. Shameless guys. They can't do any thing in their countries so they come and fall at the feet of poor Indians and their orphan kids. What a shame.
in todays news i hear GVK Reddy group has taken over $1.5b coal companies in austarlia and plans to increase this by 5 times or so in coming years Look at this orgn based from hyderabad..what they are capable of doing! so why is it we have problem in having orphanages, hospitals, food programs etc really a big abnormality. also i hear mining revenue from bellary is also in billions why are we like this?

both GVK and Bellary Mining companies are run by close confidates of YSR (Ex CM of AP).......
why are we always looking for western models? this sort of thing should be done by indian organisations.. temples have billions in their assets. the stupid fools lack the ability to even run a food program or build few orphanages, hospitals etc what is use of chanting ganPati, shiva, ram etc
i tell you the gods will NOT be there in your hour of need! you have to have organisations to support crisis . God only gives some catalyst after you try a lot!

Go to any Sikh Gurudwara and you will be served a free meal with out any question 365 a year. if you are sitting in the queue you will get served. All are welcome regardless of their Age,Gender, Cast,Colour or Creed. Now tell the west or any other religion to beat that.

I am not a Sikh. But as a human being I am very proud of this tradition. Let's get above narrow mindedness and serve the human race.

Most of the big temples and Ashrams also have this 'Annadaanam' program(langar) like what you have in Gurudwaras.
