Many writers have lamented that beaches in north india have not been listed. For their benefit,I list them in order of merit 1)Beach on both sides of ganga in Patna 2)Beach on the banks of Yamuna in Delhi 3)Beach on the bank of Hooghly in kolkata 4)Beach on the bank of subernarekha in Jamshedpur followed by kharkhai in the same city. 5)Beach on the bank of nuanai river in puri May be some other of my friends can contribute to this list from their knowledge.
1. Cola Beach, South Goa 2. Palolem Beach, South Goa 2. Cabo Da Rama, South Goa 3. Agonda, South Goa 4. Vagator Beach, North Goa 5. Anjuna Beach, North Goa
Juhu Beach or for that matter any beach in mumbai are the best.U got to see that to beleive. In the evenings the beaches are home to beggars, touts and pick pocters. The general public use it as an open toilet. The waters are black and stinky due to pollution, like ganapathi immersion and industrial waste.

You do realize that India has thousands of kilometres of coastline and this isn't a listing of every possible beach. Of course there are hundreds of very beautiful beaches, but a top 6 list can contain only 6. And those listed here are from Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andamans.

No point complaining. Outsiders are critical of everything in Maharashtra including the food habits. The only thing about the state they appreciate is their unhindered constitutional right to snatch the jobs and other livelihoods of the local populace. Any resentment is taken as opposition to INCLUSIVENESS. Their definition of inclusiveness strongly supported by the English / Hindi media is one of convenience. Inclusiveness implies going from zero percent outsiders to 10-20% outsiders. In this sense, several parts of the country - esp several organizations are not inclusive. For Maharashtra however inclusiveness means going from 90% outsiders to 100% outsiders. Leave alone being thankful for accommodating outsiders on such a large scale, even the slightest protest is met with a deafening outcry by the media which never gives out any statistics.
This is the traditional Arab and camel story. Appointee CMs of Mahrashtra who rely on the outsiders as a vote bank and the IAS officers hailing mainly from the dark states of the country are instrumental in bringing about this state of affairs.
