TFI is indeed a very good idea. When brilliant and dedicated people teach for free the poor and the needy will certainly benefit? But what about the teachers? Will they eat grass?Their life will surely be affected?Who is going to feed them?At the most it can be done for 2 yrs, that's all?

Teach for India also works to create a movement of leaders who will step out in various streams and verticals of the nation and will support Education from all strands. You can check more about TFI at www.teachforindia.org. We keep working with a classroom for 6-7 years so even when you complete your fellowship someone else will take up ur responsibilities for the classroom and lead them to excellence.
