What's racists in that? Don't women favor guys who are tall? It's the same thing. Skin color, height, weight are just physical attributes that humans consider when defining beauty. It's a personal choice. Nothing racist about it. Live with it.
First it was south american women who were made to win. Then it was the Indian, then came one black american and now african. Whereever they want to expand the cosmetics and beauty care market they use this pagent

side armm You are absolutely right. After Sushmita and Aishwarya won the awards, the sale of cosmetics grew in India. A craze has been created to have a beautician do the bridal make-up and all sorts of things which were totally alien to India. Now it has gone to such absurdities that young men have also started using so many cosmetics and we have the new kind of people called - metrosexuals.

I kind of agree...I feel Sush and Ash did deserve the crowns, but some of tbe others later on might be because of the Indian market.

If that is true, how come there was no Ms. Universe frm China? Isnt that the biggest consumer market in Asia
Deserving winner. Thanks to Sushmita, Ash, Lara, Diya and Priyanka, India contestants are left out as all end up in movies..and fail to keep their promises. Ms Ash said that "she would help the poor children of the world"..really??? Sushmita wanted to become a journalist..and so on. Donald Trump is no fool..
