Karan does not know how to interview people. He expects people to give him answers that he is anticipating. If he does not get his answer, he forcibly tries to extract the answer. He talks more than the person whom he is interviewing. Last but not the least he is a UPA agent receiving regular checks from Vatican.
The alumni of oxbridge are largely responsible for the current banking crisis as most of they are at the helm of affairs of big banks. People call them greedy and irresponsible. Clearly they lack common sense.
As alluded to below, this overemphasis on and fascination and admiration of the English accent and pronunciation is peculiarly Indian disease. No other people, society or nation gives so much importance to or are enthralled by the style of a language to extent where substance of what is being said becomes almost irrelevant. This affliction is endemic in India and many have been infected.

when you speak english,you must try to speak the queen's English and admire somebody if he can do it.surely you would like a foreigner to speak Hindi or bengali in the way it is spoken.why the envy,is it an inferiority complex?
His Cambridge sojourn was in large part made possible by his lineage, with grandpa being Rai Bahadur, the title of Rai Bahadur by the British was given in recognition of "services to the Crown". Therefore being toady comes to his ilk readily. Why would it not, and why should he discard a family practice when it has been so profitable for generations. These Thappar clan, with likes of Romilla Thappar, have made a living out of sycophancy, serving, concocting please whims and fancies of whoever is in power.
wonder how ability to speak english can take a morally corrupt person to height of fame and morally sublime and calm person nowhere. I wonder if a person who can speak solid sankrit has any value these days.. wait wait wait.. things will change.. and PhDs will prove to be nothing but Dr. Frog PhD

I disagree... this guy doesn't even speak good english. He speaks archiac 1960's Indian English as if he just finished Rapidex English Speaking Course. Totally inarticulate person but he is indeed a paid UPA agent.
