I love the place from which this new company is beginning, and I'd love for all of us to give them the benefit of doubt. I know there are cynics amongst us, but here's a set of people wanting to set up a place people would love to work in and be happy...and I don't see what's to whine about that (wrt other posters). Congrats on a journey well begun guys, and hopefully you'll do ur mite in improving the Gross National Happiness:-) Rajesh Ramaswamy

this is just a marketing gimmick to attract people to join the company.
Whats most important is to have good managers only then can people work without fuss.
Also dont hire any employee who talks crap
hire freshers only on the basis of project competetions, they need to demonstrate their skills on coding or for that matter setting up IT infrastructure or show skills in embedded etc.
Hiring process used by Infosys is only for people who aspire to become managers and not IT engineers
If you really care about employees and want to see them happy then pay portion of your project purchase order rather than salaries....can't do that right because there is a difference (atleast now) between $ and INR?
In India the most popular perception is CorruptMost HappyMost and that is timetested...most people lately fall and ultimately abide by that RULE only. Otherwise the universal eternal INDIAN truth is the person with no-material-possession is the only HAPPY person in Universe...rest all FAKE.
