Delay in filing tax returns
by sp s on Sep 08, 2011 04:13 PM

It will be convinient to file the ITR timely if the ITR forms are readily available and do not change too frequently.it will also help if the same form can be used over the years as was in practice earlier with simple filing mechanism.

Tax Returns
by mr c on Sep 08, 2011 12:34 PM  | Hide replies

In the event of the salaried tax payer and those having no liability to pay tax but are doing so only for the purpose of record and safety like retired personnels whose income are only returns from their savings and investments, the last date for filing normal returns should be 31st March of the A.Y. In any case the target date of 31st July of the is not convenient as it is rainy season.
