Multiple experiences a pain
by Pritesh Basnet on Jan 14, 2014 10:55 PM

Hi,
My name is Pritesh, my career graph would look like a person who is having a panic attack. I have had to change jobs, mainly because of circumstances.Straight after grad I got a job which paid me Rs 35,000 p/m back in 2005,today i'm struggling with jobs that pay 15,000-20,000. My experience , the longest was with IBM Daksh, for 10-11 months, international, other than that I have been in Wipro over 6 month(don't have proper parers), relocated , worked in Kolkata for SAP, SZI, SAC, Aegis, got selected in companies but I didn't join,On process, all international voice process. The problem is, one company shut down(bankrupt), another I have experience of a little over 2 months, then 3 months precisely in KPO as a senior process analyst. I have the proper letters for these companies, currently I'm a senior Advisor , but every where I go that is a consultancy, they say don;t mention this , don't mention that , and finally I have experience of less than a year at the age of 33 years, does it really work that way, or are the consultancy trying to get the best at the cheapest( you know what I mean). an experience is an experience, it boosts my confidence, it boosts my skills and knowledge, so how can that be a liability.Do companies consider candidates with that sort of experience? I am fed up with consultancies, neither are they dedicated, nor do they care. Please suggest me, whether I should be honest and go about with my interview with the correct and truthful information?
