by romesh morey on Sep 05, 2015 09:57 AM

Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule are the real teachers of india. They started first women school in india despite severe oppose and discrimination by so called upper caste community. Todays women education and development is due to them only and we even dont remember them. SALUTE THE REAL TEACHERS.

Lesson for life - Modi Kurta
by Inzy Bhai on Sep 05, 2015 09:31 AM

Yesterday the PM addressed students instead of teachers & then went on to tell the kids how Modi kurta has become fashionable. This PM brings everything down to its lowest common denominator as his mind is stuck in a cesspool.

Dr. Kalam was more of a Technocrat than a teacher in the strict sense of the word. He enjoyed teaching but is known better as being the Head of DRDO & developing weapons for strategic deterrence.

IS THERE
by privatemail on Aug 30, 2013 02:08 PM

IN SOCIETY TEACHERS HAS A BIG ROLE TO MOULD A CHILD FROM SCHOOL ITSELF. BUT HOW MANY TEACHERS ARE WILLING TO WORK SELFLESLY? ALL SELFISH AND MONEY MAKING MIND.
ANY TEACHERS IN TODAY'S SCENERIO IS DEDICATES, SELFLESS AND APOLITICAL IN THE SCHOOL? NO I DOUBT. THE ABOVE NAMES MENTIONED THEY SACRIFIED THEIR LIFE WITHOUT ANY SELF GOALS AND GIVEN GOOD AND DECENT EDUCATION FOR OUR SOCIETY. THERE IS NO TEACHERS IN TODAYS ERA FOLLOW THE GREATS FOLLOWERS. VERY SHAMEFUL AND SAD SCENE IN TODAYS EDUCATION SYSTEM.

Few of my Teachers practically Demonstrated to me, One thing
by Kanu Singh on Sep 07, 2011 09:26 PM

What you or everyone assume as good, might not always turn out to be good, so don’t be over excited and think about things from as much directions as possible, before acting on them.

One day I was in a good mood and was looking to show my highest regard to the teacher. When the teacher came in the class, all children greeted the teacher and sit down, I was still standing and singing at top of my voice, “Goood Moorning Maaad-uum”. Teacher immediately came to me and beat me up badly because she thought I called her Mad. She only listened to my explanation after I got twenty slaps for nothing.

Another time I got 100 % marks in monthly test in High school , then the teacher of that subject start having special attention on me. Whenever my not so bright friends come to class after smoking and if I was with them, she used to beat me. Her explanation was that these boys are beyond repair so I am not going to say anything to them, but you are a bright child and I will not let you get spoilt with these people.

So if you think 100 % will bring guaranteed rewards then think again, it can be cause for punishment as well.

Anyway no hard feelings with any teacher, I still respect and remember them and feel that they really gave me some knowledge and tools for adult life!

Dhoni

Dhoni sir, you are the best. the best ever indian player. you are unparalleled in indian cricket in the winning attitude and passion you bring to the game. no indian player in the history of cricket has been able to achieve what you have achieved. you always give your best and encourage other players and extract the most out of them be he a senior or junior, a player in form or out of form.

there may be indian players with better record, better talent and better technique than you, but still you can do what these players cannot do. the no. of amazing innings you play and bring victory to india with so much awesome consistency even they have not been able to do as consisitently as you.

there are very few players of your type for whom team achivements are more important and take precendence over personal achievements or milestones. the impact you have brought on indian cricket, players and fans and even people from other walks of life is simply incredible. the way you selflessly lead the team and play is a lesson for new generation players (and even for older players)

you are always involved in the game yet are still detached from it. you dont blow your trumpet and after the win you simply melt in the crowd and allow your team members to enjoy and take the credit and praise.

you really are to the indian team what krishna was to the pandavas. whatever you say and do is gita...

Teachers - Dedicated ones
by siva none on Sep 06, 2011 05:33 AM

I'm a senior citizen. All my teachers in schools and colleges where I studied are very great ones-unassuming and devoted in bringing up their students. The Headmaster made them accountable and erring teachers and students were punished for failures - no interference by parents or police. I visited them and saluted them for their devotion. Truly teachers of this caliber deserve to be worshiped for ever. those of my fellow students who are around will agree with me.
I salute them and other devoted ones on this day.

Teachers are great!
by K Vemu on Sep 06, 2011 12:42 AM

What if the school was an administrative mess? What if they discussed its failures on local media? What if some reformist thinkers wanted to reform the same? What if the teachers were split on actions that were deemed necessary?

What if some foreign countries worked along with a reformist attitude? When some many want us to change, should we change? Or should we stay how, where and what we are? I don't know. Why don't you learned enlighten me with your sacred knowledge that's driving your ever sacred massive vehicle of Sree Ranga Neethis. Respond in writing, so I can also read and understand. I will greatly appreciate your Godly insights, Sir.
