I look at your pictures and one picture of a route from Colombo to Galle and I see why our island is called paradise. You guys haven't seen beauty yet. It also helps that Sinhalese are cleaner than Indians.

Though cleaner but sinhalese are way uglier than Indians... ha ha ha.. and you would be definately amongst them who want to come to India for studies as you dont have anything in your country.... Read some books and pass your subjects rather than failing in all subjects in your curriculum... Failures...

The difference my dear fellow is in the variety. Your country is like a single good dish. It is the same everywhere, and there is only a single theme. But, India is like a full 100 course dinner or a buffet. There are so many different types of landscapes and beauties ... Do you have snow capped mountains? or endless deserts, or royal forts in these deserts? or portugese hospitality? nope .... srilanka compares nowhere to the beauty of india.

Awesome pics but reality is different!

I dont know how safe it is to travel on these routes. The roads may be great but the people are usually not. The photos are anyways taken from a scenic viewpoint but the reality is there will be garbage, dirt and filth all across (has anyone visited Mahabalipuram recently?). Indians as a set of people have no sense of cleanliness, decency or the intelligence to preserve our ancestors works. Sorry to say but true.

MAhabalipuram would be the best in the list... interms of cleanliness and safety. I remember the few years I stayed in chennai and we used to frequent the route every weekend and we were never tired. The worse would be the route - kochi to trivandrum. Worse roads, worst people... the towns are amazing though. India, as a whole, needs a overhaul. So, enjoy whatever we have as an option instead of being critical about everything. FYI, west is not the best too... You can get killed for want of 1 dollar, which is not the case in India.

Thank you for taking it sportingly. I borrowed this from one of R.K. Laxman cartoon which was published long time back. Scene is of railway compartment with two passengers sitting pretty. In front of them there is dacoit with knife in his hand. One passenger says to dacoit - "It looks like you are new in Bihar. Train has entered Bihar 1 hour back. We are already looted". Offcourse Bihar with Nitish Kumar as CM seems to much different

This is the most lame resposne I have seen when people criticize something. What do you mean by 'what have you done for your state?'

Are you saying that people should stop criticizing or lampooning all together?

C'mon be a sport. Bihar was ranked the aboslute last in the list of states listed per their development index by the Govt Of India (released last month).

Now are you saying that people in Bihar can not criticize that performance?

Well if he has not killed, robbed, raped, that itself is one negative stats less. So that is some contribution, wont you agree?
