its good story but its not that difficult to get educated. you can do a few short courses like 1 month and then get a job. with job you can enrol in uni.
ofcourse Harvard is very difficult..but she could have got herself out of trouble quite easily.
much more difficult in india as we dont have flexible education choices, low pay rates for small jobs.

drive to success is most important.

Most of indian never take commitment to excellence. thats reason we live in so much dirt and chaos. they are not taught the drive to fight and die for every inch of growth.
krishn talks to arjuna is just relegious entertainment for us. no body takes it seriously to fight on war footing to make life better.

Is Lalita the only one Lalita?
by Hehehe on Nov 26, 2011 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

I do not belitle the acheivements of this girl, but do question - is she the an exception or a norm? Lalita could be one among millions who could make it. What about the others who could not be reselient and make it. Broken homes dont fall from skies nor troubled childhood is god given. Why did the girl get into circumstances of teenage pregnancy, discontinued education, live a wild life? Wasnt it created for her? wasnt she pushed into it? WHy do we need to make heroes after creating a mess? Everyday the whole world strives very hard to make it more unequal among haves and have nots and create more one or two Lalitas who make and million more Lalitas who will not make it.....

Hehehe, I have no clue as to why you want to delve into the past and blame Lalita for all her misfortunes. Its rare to go through not only teenage life but our whole life without slip-ups or making mistakes. But falling and getting up to go ahead is what really counts.

hi, i am not blaming Lalita, what she has scheived is amazing. I do question the system which makes youngsters like lalita fall. How could a citizen betterment government allow youngsters like her to drift and fall apart. Good to know Lalita has overcome the failure, but there could millions who have spiralled into trouble and misery.....

Truly insipiring one! Defintely the woman is brave and deserves praise! But the credit also goes to the America which has established such a system where a individual can create a story if he/she wills no matter what background he comes form...
