everyone feels that way about their home country. Don't they? While dont agree with Singh and trust me he don't deserve the MR you used we have to agree we do have problems. Start with airport entering the country the customs officials hogging you.
The best place to visit is the place where not only you but accompnied by your beloved visits. The experience of it can not be expressed but it can be felt by doing. No need to go anywhere in the world. Let it be the balcony or Varandah of your house. U can feel the joy of being sitting in front of Taj Mahal.
I have been to Nepal, Australia,New York,London ( Many Times)and live in Africa and do not know how visits to these countries have changed my life.Only thing I learnt is that culturally it changes you but not your life.Misleading headlines again.

The real life changing experience is to visit and experience the life of any Indian village. The heart wrenching poverty there will dwarf biggest of your worries and you will be a changed person!

I have been to Amsterdam, London, New Zealand and live in US currently. I will say it has been a life changing experience for me. My attitude towars life has changed and not only that, my whole thinking process has changed a lot compare to when I was in India.
Again I don't mean anything in negative way, but this is just the fact that when you go out of you country and see other cultures and the way they live, you some times realize that things that you were doing from many many years, where not that right and hence you make those changes in your life.

Jgn,
I agree with you 100%.I am living in Africa for the last 10 years and the poverty I have seen especially in Ethiopia, Somalia, Eastern Congo,Sudan etc is life changing and soul sturring. It changes your life completely and teaches you not to take things for granted and be happy with what one has.It is really heart wrenching.
