Activa is quite an old designed model...the problem with Indian manufacturing as they don't change models/make REAL improvements often enough. Also, they need to introduce a model with a larger engine as these 110's with two heavy passengers trying to get up hills is embarassingly slow. Also they could offer features such as "flash to pass" light switch, storage compartment light, turn signals in the mirrors (Chinese makes an 'add-on) and even consider larger wheels. And the list goes on. There's lots of money around for people who would like a model like this.
maestro is so better than activa because maestro has many exciting features like digital meter ,service due meter, more mileage,3 beam lights,110 cc engine,trip meter.lot boot space,and body colored rear view mirrors so wats more do we need best scooter in India is maestro..
High maintenance Honda activa can only be beaten by TVS group if they can make little changes on wego ,storage space ,slightly bigger frame and more exterior finish
Hero has taken acitva, did some cosmetic job and called it maestro..this wont work. If this is Hero's research and engineering prowess then I'd be selling all my Hero shares already! The author of this paid article seems to be at wits end trying to come up with a credible USP for Maestro. I guess Hero will turn out be a great Ad making company in the future :)

venkat i do agree upon your version. I do remember When Kinetic LUNA used to be all purpose moped that time Hero Majestic acted as aan alternate for those fascinated toward little classy and sophistication.Also it was cost effective and at par mileage.Similarly HERO Maestro I believe would compete if we talk style, mileage & class .
main thing is that this is not Designed by hero moto corp. Design is by honda and development was going on before the split between hero and honda. Same frame and engine as of activa.
