Rediff, You have no right to comment about Mamata Banerjee. She is a leader of her own calibre. So never try to insult her by talking about her dress. Here in that dress she looks no problem at all. Dont expect her to dress revealing her body parts or cleavage.

Her dress represents the economic condition of West Bengal. I am from WB and I know the hard facts. We do not have enough money to feed our people even three months.

I feel Prachi Desai is looking very pretty and sober in the dress. It might not be a "Hot" or "Trendy" dress, but it suits her and makes her look nice. That's what matters.

Well said sugath Kumar. It is really surprising that how rediff editorial team allowed Mamata's photo alongwith those nauitankis. She looks so dignified in that dress. What wrong with rubber chappal.

Partially agree. Guess it is not proper to put political figures alongside actresses and models. It does not matter how Mamata and Maya dress, its more important how they deal with the matters of their states. However, clothes do add to the personality. In present day scenario, politicians must also come across more presentably.
