Shortcuts
by mohit kumar on Nov 19, 2011 03:33 PM  | Hide replies

Guys, shortcuts exist in the WINDOWS OS, not in the real world. Suhel Seth is vomitting crap that you want to read, the life that you aspire for and you know you will never get. Don't be inspired by this paid journo who wrote this to get his book some cheap publicity.....Look back.....99% of the people who are remembered/have been successful/famous were never glamourous. Simplicity is most difficult to achieve and an asset very few possess. People like Ambanis are startups who have been manipulators throughout....Look at the Tata's / very few organizations like them in the world have survived and thrived for over a 150 years. This is my peace of advice to young vulnerable minds and the GEN Y's. Don't impose suspension of disbelief onto yourself

This is absolutely correct. I have had experiences for his weekly column in THE TELEGRAPH which was amazing to read about. This is first time I have come to know about him through this paid add.
Thing is we just don't know why we buy overpriced coffee? Why don't we save for retirement even when we know we should? Why do we choose fried chicken over fruit? It all depends of our choice....

You are perfectly right. He is arrow particularly in Times now. And can be seen by the way he talk in the idiot box. He is one who thinks that he is master of all even when he knows nothing of the subject. He does not know how to appreciate good work but would critisize even terminal # as Dosawala made....Does it speak good of such person.

Could not agree with you more. I know a friend who isn't that intelligent. But by befriending media persons started writing worthless articles, started giving worthless talks and got publicity. As and when he wrote such worthless articles, the person wouls send SMSs to all whom he knew, just to get publicity and acknowledgements. And now he has achieved success. By 'showmanship' one can achieve success but that does not mean such persons are really intelligent. Partying, throwing parties where liquor is served in plentiful and where society women fond of partying are inviited, networking, being yesmen to rich fools are some of waays that lead to road of success. But that can be done only by killing one's own conscience. If it is acceptable go ahead. If not work hard, recognise your own capabilities and work to achieve in accordance with your own capabilities. Be in the category "know that you know" if you can or "know that you don't know" but certainly not in the category "know not that you know" or "know not that you know not".

Shortcuts might get one to the top early but he/she never stays there for long. It is always hard work and perseverence succeeds in this world.

remind me again - what has this d-bag actually ACHIEVED? Talking glib and knowing celebrities - is that your definiation of success? By your standard Paris Hilton is WAYYYY more successful than Albert Einstein.

Most likely this article was written by $eth himself and passed on to re_diff, he conveniently ignored that his A$$ is being fried by ITC lately for some 200 crores, his a$$ may not worth that much though.

Only surprise is that the "motor mouth" needs a script to read out than speak from his a$$.

Basically, he is a fixer, one of the ilk of Nira Radia, that is why he has suddenly become visible. Even most of the ad campaigns from his company were never successful.
