It is strange that the beauty queens are never from the developed countries;they are always fron the countries in the mode of developement like India,African Countries,Latin America, Fo rmer Russian Colonies.It is heady mix of dumb guys and beautiful girls.

Balan, Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the US. To see its influence socially potically or otherwise, check the wikipedia site.
The real reason is the MNC cosmetic gaints. Recall their coverage in india before and after the 90s when Rai/priyanka/dutta won the titles. Needless to say, It will be another decade or so before we have a fair chance at the crown.

Iyer guru, they need to market women beauty enhancements items in developing nations. Market for these items in developed nations are already saturated.
Don't you see vast change in the market for these items in India after Ash and Priyanka got these a.hole crown?

Its b/c all such competitions are for business purpose. The main sponsors are majorly from the cosmetic industry. Their business is already pretty good in the developed nations but to make the ppl in the under developed/developing countries use their products, they conduct these competitions and finally make the folks from those countries the winners like only after India won these compitetions (5 crowns I guess) in the mid-nineties, the cosmetic industry boomed. So its all business oriented.
So much of make up ! You put so much make up and wear a crown. It clearly shows. There should be a Miss World based on REAL SKIN COLOR (without any make up at all...then surely INDIAN girls only will win :-) bcoz atleast 60% of our country people are blessed by really beautiful skin and also great BRAIN to answer all those questions.
Beauty and Brain are both in India (I mean BEAUTY without MAKE UP)

Surely, next time there is Mr.World Contesnt, Indians gonna rock it and products like Garnier Menactive / Fairness Cream for men - etc are going to hit the market big time ..
Purpose of multinationals compinies to capture Indian Market has been Fullfilled after 5-7 Indian beauties successfully gave space to Lipstic and Other cosmetic product. Multinationals Don't need Marketing executive in India anymore, hence Chances of Indian beauty makting Cut at Miss World for Next 10-15 Years appears very Weak. 2025 Onwards ,possibly multinationals will need Indian Girl.
