The writer was a smoker for 30 years and quit the habit by increasing the time gap. Slowly we can reduce the number of cigerettes and after bringing down to 2-3 it is easy to say goodbye to smoking.
For this a person should think to stop. Seconding never buy packets. Buy only 1-2 pieces only. Once in a while go to cancer hospital and see the pathetic conditions of the patients.

By who. it is your habit and it is you who is burning his money, they are your lungs and your life. Why should any one else care about you. Will you stop if I say to you now don't smoke. I bet you will not.
Though there is desire, on seeing their admirable cine stars stylish smoking, do the youngsters quit the habit? First of all, socially familiar people should alteast stop giving pose with cigar in their hands. Is that not possible?
I have been trying to quit smoking for last 10 years but I have miserably failed each time, would realy appreciate if some ex-smoker could suggest a way. Please dont suggest emotional ways "think of your family, wife etc...".

Take leave from your job and tell your wife to put you in quarantine for 3-4 months.
Anybody can quit smoking, if they fear their life.
