One thing is certain! We are to take certain precautions that we do not go out of the "track" when doing yogasana particularly the ones which may get us "slip" sideways! It is a long-known "phenomenon"!
The pose shown as Marjarasana, when done in the shown position - head down and spine up, will in fact put pressure on the lower back and may harm the tender disks. It should be done the reverse way, with head up and spine down, please, so as to relieve the pressure on the tender disks.
