I like the mashed potatos served in many counters in US. They are not only good, but very healthy too. If we eat 150 grams of mashed potato, with 2 grilled tomotows, one orange juice, one boiled egg and a cup of tea without milk and sugar are best and considered as healthy break fast. If you just want to add, a slide whole wheat brown bread and you are ready for a healthy day. Still hungry add cup of conflakes and a bit of cold milk without sugar. Enough and I bet it just takes care of everything and no fat formation.

No, Daar and purrrr is how the farts sound. LOL. Also the Singh thing is to do with the excees comsumption of potatoes by North Indians in particular.

Telex Pandian,How about others who eat lot of non-veg.It seems they do't fart and keep everything within themselves.

If it is cooked with oil. No oil, potatoes are good source of energy for the body. Mashed potatoes and boiled potatoes are good for health and not the fried ones, those cooked with butter and ghee.
