None can ever gift his/her mother anything precious in the world other than his/her unconditional love for her. Gift ur parents the love of a lifetime which is all they want from U.
I appreciate the writing skill of the author, but apart it was dry. It is your bad luck if you were born to a woman who considers giving birth was the biggest mistake of her life. Instead a plain visit (which of course the likes of you do only on a 'mothers day') along with your wife and children with a sweet (as they say the shubharambh meethe se ho jaaye). May be she is diabetic, but will never mind dying of eating a bit of it which you have fetched her with love.
the gifts will turn priceless with the love with which you offer them.

IF you want to gift anything to your mother..then dedicate yourself towards her.
There is no gift (NO means no) in this world can be comarable to Mother's love and care for her child.
And, in my views there is no mother's day.. Infact everyday is mother's day.
In my personal view " I never seen_GOD, nor will see, but I ve seen my mother and father, who are never less than_GOD to me."
Do your work and not too much thinking...be a good son to mother and never hurt her....and keep her happy and proud to be your mother till end...Okkkkkkkkkkkk
