Principal is the in charge of a school while principle are rules made by a person for himself.

Make the correction

PLEASE NOTE A CORRECTION , PRINCIPLE - IS A RULE WHEREAS PRICIPAL IS NOT ONLY HEAD, AS YOU MENTIONAED, IT ALSO MEANS MAIN.

U see oxf. dictionary defines pricipal as most important among the list of important things, so its not incorrect.......

The syntax of the sentence in Q14 would be wrong if the answer as prompted is correct.
