I remember my first SLR I brought in Std 10 (1995) it was Zenith 122k costing 2500 rupees only. I then upgraded to Cosina C1s 2years later which costed 7000... and many more after that. Today also if buy a entry Digital SLR e.g. Canon EOS1000 it will cost you 20,000
So if you have a passion then the above cost is not much.

I am sure you can, but you have other priorities in life than buying an expensive camera.
A very good interview, especially for young people wanting to start a career in glamour photography. Subi comes across as a level headed man who's worked hard to reach where he is today. Particularly liked his advice bits.

You have no bloody problem when anyone in saffron says any objectionable things. You have no bloody problem when fake swamis discuss their philosohies and politics. You have no problem when sri sri sri some thihng talks about his his coktail of capitalism and hinduism. Here a photographer talks about his religioous feelings and you start shouting! You deserve the treatment you are getting from Religion of peace. I am sure you will keep quite when they threaten to cut off your 1/4 th and keep a bomb in your a55.
