The decision of AICTE is really unfair. Before taking such kind of decision AICTE must think about those people who are doing part time MBA course who are working and will not able to do full time course. I am also doing part time MBA course in finance from Chetana's. It will enhance my knowledge as well as my educational qualifications. Many professors agreed that part timers can understand easily, learn easily more than full timers. Did AICTE have any alternate way? Please think over it. AICTE do not have any right to spoil future of working professional by taking such king of decision.

a real example of an institution run by babus only.. no logic behind their action, AICTE himself is a broker kind of institution making crores of money every year in the name of renew the permission. They really do not care if the institute is fullfilling the criteria or not, u bribe them and give hefty renew fees and they are least bothered with the kind of education these insti will provide to their students.. corrupt india corrut AICTE

very unfair decision. I myself did part time MMM(Masters in Mrktng Mgmt) from K.J.Somaiya (evng classes) 3 yrs. It was fun learning from 6pm to 9 pm and applying it on my work the next day.I agree, we did not slog as much as the full timers do, but most of the studies we did was more practical and applied them in our work. Most of us did engineering, we had plethora of subjects( 16 per year),and how many subjects we recall? hardly 2-3.

Absurd Move

This move by the AICTE is as absurd as saying '...many police officers are corrupt and are misusing their authority so it is decided to scrap the full department in order that corruption & misuse of authority can be prevented...'

How Fair
by P Dhananjaya on Mar 07, 2011 10:04 AM

I agree some mushroom institutions are making money and mockery of education, but the corporates are also demanding their employees who lack such certifications should possess an MBA in order to climb up the ladder....in whole this is a CARTEL which you cannot escape...It's not fair on AICTE to take such drastic step, instead have some regulations on colleges before authorizing them to enroll students.....

Most of the reputed management institutes are running these programs to make quick money, from frustrated middle level professionals
