Amen Here
If your future plan is to start a new company
by Amen Here on Mar 05, 2011 08:04 AM  | Hide replies

Don't join big companies

Its always recommend you to join a small growing company. You can reach top position easily on short terms. you will get exposed to lot of thing

Suppose in software industry

1. You may start as a tester
2. You may join development team
3. You will get promoted as project leader
4. You will get promoted as Project Manager.

This way you get expertize d in different arean. I think in 5 years you will be in a position to start a new company

If you are joining a big company. You will sticked to modules. You don't even know what the full project is .

Riding my bike was my first JOB with salary!
by Gulab on Mar 05, 2011 07:57 AM  | Hide replies

My dad had bought me Yamaha 135 once I passed my graduation (it was his promise). I was in full josh and attended interviews in that bike. Soon I got a job that had lots of travelling with petrol and food allowance too...again I was in heaven and enjoyed fully for 1 full year riding my bike!

At last, I realized it was not my future and shifted to a different profession...but I fulfilled my dreams of going on long rides at 100 plus kmph, and I still own my bike! I just love that...

Work was fun but without money
by Sarfaraz Ahmed on Mar 04, 2011 08:26 PM

I had accepted my first job in contact center in Jan 2002. I was not even aware what contact center do. The salary offered to me was 3500 per month. We are also offered some pathetic breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately I was a undergraduate that point of time. So I was not left with any option but to accept what I was getting. We use to work in shifts. The company was in Mahape MIDC. So, If you miss the last bus @ 11 than you are stranded and on the mercy of some car passing by the road. Other best part of this job was internet access without any restriction. I graduated while working here. Fortunately I got my next job with salary of 8.5k next day when I got my result. I resigned and took my experience letter and never turned around to that company.
