This is a good article which gives an insight into the good Mutual funds. Am actually contemplating upon SIP for the last 1 week and yes this article had given me some ideas.
An ideal portfolio should include a mid-cap fund. And it has 3 funds from the same fundhouse, which can be further diversified in terms of fund houses. Also we don't need 6 funds, 4 is enough to keep the required diversification in terms of caps.
