We have seen and heard similar reasons given by the film heroines to heroes, in many movies. When the hero stumbles upon a heroine who is a bar dancer or into flesh trade or working for a villian, so on, and tries to find out the reason why she is doing all those horrible acts, she generally takes him through the flash back of similar kind.
