I lost 24 kgs in 12 months. What I did is stopped oil and sugar, boiled vegetables and rotis for 6 days a week, Breakfast is oats, one day cheat and eat what u like, stopped tea and started green tea, work out for 2 hours a day of which 1 hour is cardio (walking, jogging, cycling), eat dinner at least by 7 pm, and at 9 or 10 pm eat a bowl of papaya to keep u filled. Additionally you can take two spoons of isabgol in water to increase fiber content just before you go to sleep. MAIN THING is DO NOT FAST OR SKIP MEALS - you will put on weight if if u fast or skip meals as ur BMR decreases and also ur body stores fat. Also take supplements like Maxepa and Revital when u start this diet to take care of any nutrition loss. Do this and u r guranteed to lose weight drastically without any harm.

Yoga is a way of living life Its not Hindu or communal Pranayam is one chapter of yoga Weight and shape of the body depends grossly on 4 factors apart from the metabolic diseases. 1.Lack of exercise 2. Over eating mainly fat containing foods 3. Hereditary 4. The most neglected MIND FACTOR which is taken care of by Yoga
Body wt can be gained as well as lost by following Yoga practices which includes Meditation Which is the most important Even without doing exercises i lost almost 25 Kg wt and 12" waist line in a matter of 27 days in the year 96 ONLY following Yoga practices in Bangalore ashram Most of the over weights and fatty shapes can be corrected or treated by this method particularly when diet and exercises fail to give results Apart from loosing weight and correction of shape (they are the byproducts of yoga practices) there are unbelievable inner changes in me due to that training If any one wants to follow that method pl send e mail to drmmo50@yahoo.com with Body Weight as subject line Thank You for reading Dr Oza

Those wanting to loose weight should learn simple physics of energy balance. There is no magical way to loose weight. The change in quantity of matter in the body at any moment depends purely upon the difference between energy of eaten food and energy used up in bodily functions.

They should also learn about simple methods of autosuggestion to get will power. Extreme feelings of hatred and shame can help. Such feelings can be artificially developed through an obsessive preoccupation with the ideas of slimness, good health, and so on.

Methods like killing appetite through excessive tea and coffee drinking between meals, can help.

Eating less than what the body spends without fail, is essential for loosing weight.

No magic can loose weight if the amount of energy eaten in food is more than the energy spent.

Secondly exercise is a very very poor substitute for eating less, because an enormous deal of exercise spends tiny quantities of energy, the human body being very efficient as a mechanism.

I am putting 76 Kgs and I am 36 years old. How can I reduce my weight. My job is sitiing type and no physical labor involved during day time.In fact I am a working lady. At home does works.

Kindly suggest

I am putting 80 Kgs and I am 30 years old. Doctor told me to reduce weight as it can cause cholestrol in the coming time...my job is sitiing type and no physical labor involved

Whatever else you do, but please do not take up Pranayam, because:
1. It is a Hindu exercise, and you may lose weight doing it, but you may become communal,
2. It does not cost money. Anything coming free has to be looked at with suspicion.

I am sorry to hear that your job also tied you up to the chair and they also refrained you from walking or doing anything of that sort. Do you ask on the net how to take a sh1t? Are you now going to ask the people on the net to make kids for you? Are you moron enough to not that you need to get your a$$ up and burn that fat on you? You know more than you, I think I am pity on your parents who failed to raise you into a man. Grow up dude, you are 30 and you need a doc and people on the net to tell you that you need to lose fat.
