Avocados,almonds,hazelnuts are ofcourse good if taken as a daily diet and not once in a while which will reduce cholesterol,apart from this reducing wait and avoiding fatty foods will help a lot.Taking Arjunarishta and tonicard on a regular basis will help reduce cholosterol to a great extent.Iam a homoeopath and have reduced people's cholosterol to a great extent.Fish also is good if one is non-vegetarian.

Omega-3 protects the heart may help in many diseases but does not decrease cholestrol. Any fat foods do not decrease cholestrol. Only exercise and non fat foods can decrease cholestrol.
