Nokia-Suggestions
by ABHISHEK SINGH on Jun 20, 2011 04:57 PM

And not to forget, Nokia have exited from CDMA segment, which has created huge void which its competitors filled. CDMA is still a very voluminous segment and Nokia should re enter in this arena.

How can Nokia remain No.!
by hitesh stock on Jun 20, 2011 01:03 PM

1. Instead of selling only Symbian made phone, Nokia must require to sell Smart Phone with Android & Windows OS. Customer require choice & options.
Also applications available on Android are better than Symbian platform.

2. Add value added services - Free Download songs, movies, etc

3. Don't decrease prices instantly - Nokia come with new model with high price but within a year, it goes down to 30-405 low...For smart-phone, keep price at one level

4. Not confuse customer with too many models - Nokia introduce so many models and each models has different specifications & future - but not a single model which contains all futures. Keep 3 to 6 limited Smart Phone models and offer all possible futures in one phone

Common prasad... I think the problems are not as much as it is in Nokia these days. No doubts on low end Smart phones... there is no comparison of Samsung and in High end of course Blackberry, Apple rules... Me and my whole family uses almost 5 mobile hand sets of Samsung starting from Rs 2000 to Rs 10000 (Galaxy) and we have not faced even a single issue...May be you are one of those unfortunate one, but believe me these days Samsung products sell like hot cakes and very robust and good looking

Should have followed the road of N900
by harish gokul on Jun 19, 2011 09:56 PM

Having used iPhone and an Android developer myself, I honestly believe that N900 should have been the platform which they must have concentrated. It's a hell of a phone. I am not exaggerating. The freedom and robustness of the Maemo OS is awesome. N900 is the "real" multitasking phone. See youtube for proofs. Its just a mini linux computer in your palm.

It has all the potential to make other OSes eat mud. But again a bad decision from Nokia for discontinuing Meego :(

MeeGo
by Laker on Jun 19, 2011 09:20 PM

Nokia going with MeeGo was a big mistake, and even bigger mistake was to abandon it completely and go only with Windows phone. We all know the state of windows phone, Nokia has committed suicidal decision to abandon Linux related phones.

We will see most probably Microsoft buying Nokia, and there would be no Nokia in future.
