PSG Tech rank is less than VIT? Oh God! the rankings are not carried out scientifically and analysed properly. Some hapazard ranking!! Private institutions will use this ranks for their ad. Don't mislead the public by publishing this.

Sandipan @ it is a paid article to improve the capitation fees for the admissions this year ..so parents & students have to be careful about this ratings .. no way VIT can be above DCE & NIT warangal
In the top ranking engg colleges IITs should not be considered .Because IIT is world class research Institutes.So it should be excluded ,then only we can see some more quality engg colleges in India

The older IITs are definitely of international class, but not the newer ones. They still lack in adequate facility and faculty. Hope they will improve very soon.

i fully agree with u.. BESU is nowhr in the list, instead of all those thapar's n nirma's hv made the list !? its really a paid list !

I believe 2nd oldest engg college is Roorkee, 3rd is College of Engg Pune followed by Bengal Engg College. The oldest in Guindy Engg College, now it is Anna University, Chennai.

I agree, BE college is one of the finest engineering institution, as good as Jadavpur University if not better

RVCE is not good, just becoz in bangalore it's hyped else the college itsel;f is not upto the mark.
