Why do we need HR Manager breed
by rkms on Jun 05, 2011 04:17 PM

When there are managers at every level, why this special function - especially when it is useless.

MBA in Human Resources is a fake course.

Recruitment teams are hand-in-glove with Placement Agencies.

Most HR managers unfortunately don't give a rat's azzie about filling a vacant position with the right candidate.

They just look for good looking smart talking people they can flirt with. There are VERY VERY FEW professional people in every company....and this is something I've learned in my career spanning 5 years in 3 difference companies.

Sir,
well said and I do accept that one is personality and level of confidence, second power dressing, thirdly team play, upto this level ok. comes to experience, here my point is when graduated n came out how one will gain experience experience. all experienced people are hot in getting jobs then what is the fate of a graduate having 3 skills be wated. has to rome jobless. no if the company is confident of train up personnel why not train them and make them/tune them for their works. yes they may fly away. then keep an option of paying best and have a bond from them upto the suitable.

I strongly request that many thousands of graduates from the reputed universities are roaming without job due to the policy that experience is a must tag. Pl do understand the problems of the unemployed then try to make them by imparting training to them tune them to your works and take the quality of work from them by taking bonds from those personnel. Pl come out of the grand phobia that u need an experienced person. Mold the personnel when u find, train them n put into your works when remaining three qualities available with them. this is my sincere request.

I don't agree my friend. Most of the freshers are not employment ready today and the reason is that lack of guidance.

Perfecting the art of corruption
by KETAN PALEKAR on Jun 03, 2011 07:14 PM  | Hide replies

The HR departments in many organizations have mastered the art of corruption. Take for instance the recruitment guys. In conjunction with the job agencies they have formed a strong cartel and make tons of money by fabricating the selection process. Or take the example of the corporate HR who are in close contact with the top management. They always advise reduction of benefits given to the common employee but make sure that they enjoy all benefits. In fact I have seen this happen that the corporate HR, recruitment HR and job agencies worked togather in what could only be termed as a brilliant idea. The corporate HR convinced the top management that the employees should not be given salary hikes and hence most employees ended up without any hikes. This resulted in a huge attrition and the recruitment team was already ready with freshly recruited people. Thus everyone made money because of the huge recruitment. This is the kind of culture that many HR's are trying to promote. Dishonesty, hype and lies is what an employee thinks will take him up the corporate ladder and rightly so.
