9 ways to select the best MFs for investing

Agreeing that long term investment is best but I am 76. How and where do I invest safely? Can any one advise me. With modern life span is incresing.

Invest in debt funds and do STP into equity funds. Its good if investment is in joint names. for details contact 9870020060

dear sir, at age 76, it would be advisable to invest in guaranteed returns rather than equities. At present, the FD rates are high and it's better to go with them rather than equities

Seriously, after looking at all parameters/ metrics, the valuations are unreasonable/stretched.

If you really want to invest, select 1 large cap, 1 midcap and any one of your choice.

But, please don't inevst for short-term.

Even 10 years is short term for me.

You will definetely earn more if you stay invested for 20-25 years.

I found this article very very useful. After reading this one i had made a detailed analysis about my investment in mutual fund by considering this 9 parameters. I was totally unaware of all this parameters. This parameters is giving me a fair evaluation of my investments in MF and will also help in further investments.

Thankyou for your feedback. Can you please inform the website / source where I can learn these said paramaters and compare my investments. I was checking Rediff money / money control websites for checking these parameters however could not find the details. Thanks in advance
