Only comment to this successful man is you are not living in USA or Europe. India is not a rich nation. So help others than helping only you. contribute to the poor of India as much as you can.
You have to live in reality. its easy to give philosophy. follow your passion. if every body starts following passion, guess what there would be doctor, engineer and private jobs. Truth is you can bring your passion and energy in whatever job you are in. no point in fantasising about dream job. there is no such dream job, where you will be partying and girl and money will come to you without doing anything. wake up..

well, there is a happy medium. I know a friend who is an engineer by profession and sings in restaurants and parties on the weekends as well as plays hosts to events etc. He is a singer not a DJ and a mega fan of remixes, and golden oldies of Mohm. Rafi. My point is following your dream to make a living could be a disaster move but doing it on the side and keeping the child in yourself alive and pursuing if after hours is what distinguishes people who have a real passion for certain activities, be it music, travel, photography or internet surfing

Follow your dream doesn't mean day dream. It doesn't mean lack of effort. It means the opposite. A dream or a passion is but the starting point. But then you need to persevere, you need to work through day and night. You need to stick at it through thick and thin. You need to apply all your energy, your intellect and your self belief into it and only then you get to realise your dream. Also note that dreams and passions are not reserved for the glamour professions. Your dream could be to be a doctor but your passion will ensure that you seek to be the best doctor you possibly can be.
There are coders who code because it is their job, because their parents pushed them into engineering, Infosys recruited them and now coding is their routine. Their are also coders who code because it is their passion, because they love creating something out of nothing, whose primary motivation is to be as good a coder as they can be. The former makes decent money and chugs along. The latter sets out to change the world and every once in a while does.
That same choice - work to pay your bills or work to pursue inner excellence - exists in every skilled job.
