High time pesticides are banned...
by P P on Jun 04, 2011 04:07 PM

Most pesticides are harmful for human health. Yet, we recklessly use them, in the name of increasing food production. And then we all know what happens during floods, they start rotting without any use to anyone. From almost 3 decades endosulphan caused so much misery to the people of Kerala. Still it is only recently that it was banned. And that too its a phased ban over a decade. Just shows how much clout the companies hold over our political class. From ages, in India we were indulging in organic farming using natural methods. Who destroyed them ? And now we are told of this 'latest' trend called organic farming. Its high time we learnt to live with nature and its predators, instead of trying to win a battle over them to further our own cause. So more than mobiles, today it is necessary to worry about the poisonous food, fruits and vegetables that we eat.

We only believe what we have been told....
by Rediff Moderator on Jun 04, 2011 03:47 PM

We don't use our brain and we only belive what we have been told to belive by west.... we are blind followers and we don't have the capablility to think or do some rational thinking on the subject... so whatever propoganda is thrown to our brain through constant news feeding into our head, we belive it like bible and don't question as we don't want to be looked like an idiot in front of all the other fools who belive this shit of news.... so sure, keep trowing the garbage at us naming it delicacy and we will eat it with chow!!!!! because we have been subconsiously asked to belive WEST.

Dont forget WHO's HINI Statements
by Vizagian on Jun 04, 2011 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

WHO is unecessarily making wrong statements to slow down economy in ASIA. We have seen in the past how nastily WHO research failed in the case of H1N1. All over the world, the countries ordered vaccines worth billions of dollars. Stop believing WHO, its all non sense, they are doing this in the interest of WEST. Now the growing economies must take over majority of International organizations like UN, IMF, WORLD BANK, WHO, UNSC etc. Only good thing in WEST is they donate money for good things, wheras EAST save money in SWISS banks.

This is true. Cell phone in trouser pocket can severely drop sperm count. Better to carry in hand or keep away from body as much as possible.
