Hi, Thanks for sharing this list. Nice Post! But List is not complete. One of the reputed and best Engineering college in India is RCE(Roorkee College of Engineering) in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
IT_BHU was established in 1931 and was called Benco. It was renamed IT-BHU in 1971 when it led the IIT JEE Exam for nascent IITs in 1971 (When JEE was started). Its name also has now changed to IIT-BHU as per Lok Sabha Bill passed in 2011 March. rediff is really poor on reporting.

No wonder, you ranked these as best. You are the ultimate idiot. even you dont know the full name of NISER. E is not for Engineering ,but for Education. And for your information,Mr Idiot, National and Indian institute are neither built nor governed by Orissa govt., but by central government.

I was told it is one of best after IITS ; specially in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University; Visakhapatnam.
