These people are a disgrace to the nation.

I totally agree with the above reviewers. I have seen my husband who after completing his masters at a reputed University in the US and working full time at a reputed organisation here in the US finds it so hard to get a permanent work permit, all bcoz Indians in the US are generalized as cheats. It breaks my heart to see him work so hard, follow all the rules to the T and still struggle so much while these bozos try to skirt the system and malign the image of all the Indians here. I am sure that when the students come to the US they are very well aware about what they are getting into.. Of course they are supposed to be coming here to study after completing their Bachelors.. We as Indians, even before buying a small object do so much research.. It is unbelievable that these people were not aware about the "credibility" of the university they were getting into!!!!

Van-you are linking your Mr.Husbands IMMIGRATION delay with a MALPRACTICE of a very general nature. You seem to look at the FRAUD issue with an EYE of your own Green Card expectation. Also let me tell you ?...Indians are not generalized as CHEAT in the US., its people??? of INDIAN origin who are well settled and went to REPUTED universities who look down upon their own other INDIAN immigrants., In my experience an INDIAN in AMERICA looks DOWN over other INDIANS but an AMERICAN always looks up ! to everyone ! so enjoy your stay in Kansas and hope your husband gets a GC soon..good luck ! lookINDIANSattnedded

Visa fraud..ask andhra guys
by ramanujam srinivasan on Jul 28, 2011 11:17 PM  | Hide replies

I hate to tell this, but I admit that most of the visa frauds are done by andhra people...trivalley s just a tip of the iceberg...I've seen many resumes of andhra guys coming to my clients here...All of them studied in either osmania or JNTU..have more than 80%..then studied in totally unknown college...and a guy of 25 yrs will have a work experience of 6 yrs in d relevant field..will answer all questions with same textbook answers..but will start to struggle if u ask indepth questions which can be answered only if u had worked in that....

In US,they've formed a nexus, where one andhra guy will do anything to help other..for eg,if an andhra manager wants to hire someone,he'll pass it to his frnds who pass to their frnds and in the end,the incoming employee will be another andhra guy whom they'll pass in d interview and then help him to code as he wont know even basic compiling..

this doesnt mean that other guys are decent,I've seen tamilians, punjabis, maratis and chinese guys doing it..just that most of them come from andhra...

I knw that many guys may find my comment a little racist...but I had an experience with a newly joinee..he was a 6yr experienced in PL/SQL..but on the 1st day, when I gave him a job to write a trigger..he was blinking for 2 hrs..when I confronted him,he cried that he just finished MS degree in a US university and faked the resume as he knew the interviewer(another andhra guy) thru one of his frnds....he begged me not to report it...
I asked him to voluntarily resign..bcos of such frauds, nowadays, the americans are getting too suspicious of Indian software guys and visa rejections for even genuine candidates ahve increased...

Moreover,a guy who comes after B.E at 21 ,can get a student visa till 27yrs for just $5000 to a unknown university like Trivalley..work here, then apply H1B for 5 yrs and then he will get a green card...actually i wasnt surprised to find many andhrites in Trivalley university....

As usual, you generalize and come across as an idiot.

If fraud is such a big deal, the system has to take some responsibility too. You want a guy who has the most experience and comes at the lowest rate.. what do you expect anyone to do. You catch hold of an intelligent rookie, cook up the experience and send him in. And hope he survives. A lot of them do. I helped a few too whether they are from Andhra or Tamilnadu or Delhi. They are genuinely hardworking and willing to learn, unlike some idiot who comes in with expertise, but does not want to go that extra step to get the work done.

U dont know how much that affects the normal guys who come with genuine resumes from our country....I dont generalise all are from andhra..just that i've seen 80% of d cases from andhra...the client manager is now very skeptic about hiring desi guys as he fears them for being a fake resume holder...

There is a big difference between enhancing your resume and cooking up the whole resume...
for eg,i'll tell a sample resume we get normally..
name :XXXX
Age :25
B.E :a well known indian university like Osmania, anna or JNTU
M.S :totally unknown university in US,like Trivalley(u can get that for $5000)
Experience :6 yrs full time in 3 different companies
Suppose if a person completes his engg at 20 and MS at 22..how cm he has 6 yrs experience at 25???

Its true that the job here is not rocket science and its easy to learn it..but most of the guys dont have even basic computer knowledge and have worst english...i then learnt that the guy who talked in telephone was someone else...

These fake resume holders are seriously damagin d names of indians in US...
it is now showing the rejections of H1B visas and many are not given extensions inspite of possessing genuine documents to support them....

You are right. We had to sack a bunch of around 15 guys whom we selected for our MNC in chennai. they did a great job with the interviews and couldnt even write a line of code. And also, they start poisoning the other "somewhat" Andrites against the company saying "they only pay so much... u know how much this company pays and that company pays". Finally the head office in USA issued a clear message to all the hiring managers and staffs NOT TO ENTERTAIN ANY RESUME FROM ANDRA. Sad... but true.
