For engineering,Management and for Medical admissions,we must have only one exam respectively for the whole of India. IIT JEE, CAT, MCAT(Medical colleges admission test) is all that is required?

too many admission tests
by raman govindan on Jul 27, 2011 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

admission tests for MBA should be limited to amaximum of 2 only. one on all india basis and the other for state level.

similarly for engineering and medicine also.

the candidate need to write maximum of two tests only depending upon his requirement.

every institution conducting tests should be banned. India is a poor country, and the students are driven from pillar to post.

with admission test marks the student can apply either to institution away from his home state or to local one.

several students are not equipped financially to move out to other states, and not reached a level to compete with well equipped top bracket students for national institutes like IIT, IISc. etc.
