Arundhati roy is a one book wonder who rambles on every subject on earth. she and her fellow activist friends most often clamour for media attention and instigate millions of less informed public. Is "foot in mouth" digvijay singh listening - Arundhati Roy must be probed for he source of income. One book wonder does not justify the high profile connections she keeps. Maybe Congress bankrolls such loose cannons else there is no way she can sustain such expensive activist agenda. Extreme freedom and democracy results in such loose cannons like Roy and Medha padkars.. Wonder why rediff thinks this article is newsworthy to publish.. Make a lion of someone with below ordinary and ill informed thoughts.
This is the book explaining what she wore and what she was doing, total anti-climax and boring.. It's so negative publicity of the book - how to stay away from the book..Arundhati's deed is a different topic but I don't have to add much readers cogently mentioned in their comment below. but I have to add one line fr UPA, Delhi police they just sent notices to Arundhati and Jilani after BJP raised the issue for sedition but they actually cracked down with brut force against Baba Ramdev's peaceful supporters doing pro-India demonstration in the night. What a shame ...
Even though I am a muslim here in USA, I find her most irresponsible and media hyped person. Her knowldge about what she speaks and writes is very limited, one sided and even communal.
She was blasting some of OUR Indian parties and groups with fake and unblanced speeches and comments in seminars and radio here in USA.
WHO EVER SPEAKS IT, A LIE IS A LIE.
SO SAD SUCH PEOPLE ARE MADE GRAND IN INDIA WHILE THE REST SUFFER DUE TO RELIGIOUS POLITICS.
She enjoys a shamelessness without any responsibility....and she is disregarded. I remember how greatly I appreciated when she won a booker or something prize...and that was also as per a plan.

Absolutely correst sir ! Well said, but she is not worried. As you indicate, she must be protected by some groups in India and maybe in USA !

Thank you Majid...I also agree that these kind of people just distort our Indian secularism. Indians means anyone who accepts India as motherland and not religion, language, caste and creed. We have enemies in the form of Maoists, Jihadists, smugglers, money launderers, politicians and self seeking activitists like Arundhati Roy who are out to give India a bad name.

Majid, Well said..I would ackowledge her word power though and the ability to spin illusions that have captured quite a few gullible minds. However, pragmatism has been difficult in her social utopia where economics is a dirty world of scoundrels.
And yes, once can almost never assume a spade to be called a spade in her discussions.

Tukaram, I believe Majid is referring to Arundati Roy's oft repeated crocodile tears over imagined atrocities against Muslims in India.
Which is why Majid prefaced his criticism of Arundati roy with, "Even though I am a muslim"....he still disagrees with people like Arundati who tries to sensationalize things by giving irresponsible statements.

finally at least one muslim is talking some sense. i guess most muslims are sensible, but dont have the courage to speak.
It is easy to make noise from outside than take a modicum of responsibility for our actions. She is a classic example to stay on the sidelines forever and seek publicity and contempt for her mother country.

arundhati is anti india, she thinks we are suppresing kashmir, but reality is we are democratic is the reason she can speak freely, i know i am not speaking in term of the above article, i think we should bycott her fir her stand..democratically...she need some internationl attention, so she can glamour publcity..and earn $ for her
