Congratulations. India needs more such people. First generation entrepreneurship is tough but the rewards are sweet. Rocket Singh is truly one of the finest movies of our times. And well done rediff- for a change a good inspiring story.

of course! the chai wala, the laundry chap, the vegetable vendor... As long as you are able to build a business from scratch and scale it up wit consistent service you could be called an entrepreneur. remember chotelal in rocket singh? The problem in India is as soon as you start scaling up the government starts getting its greasy fingers into your pie- then you have to do illegal things to beat the system or give up your business. The people who do this on a massive scale get to be Fortune 500 companies. But the wheels of an economy are always facilitated by the SME.

they are all entrepreneurs but how much revenue/profit do they generate separates one from the other

Congrats to you and all your team mates!! Great yaar. You know it is very interesting & inspiring too. It remind me my innovation after watching Rocket Singh.
I watch it on television for the 1st time then for the whole night I thought of doing something different. I was working as a Asst. Sales Manager by that time. I called 2 of my friends who are Hardware Engineers by profession.I showed them this movie and explain them about my idea. As being a sales professional I'm confident enough to take the responsibility of looking after the marketing part I asked them to look after the hardware & marketing part. As I ve done some sort of graphic designing course, so designing a brochure, v card, corporate presentation was not a matter of issue.
Initially I give a presentation in my own office for the hardware & maintenance part and they got agreed but from the very beginning case I didn't get the co-operation from my friends. And even though I approached many clients but due to lack of co-operation from my friends I couldn't execute my dream in to reality.
I have some personal problem which straightway affecting my financial position. So can you suggest me how can I execute my plan in my way.

Just for the hardware engineer you are facing problem ? Why dont you contact any local hardware shop and tell them you like to give business to them on commission bases.Hire them as consultant when needed and give partial profit to hardware shop.
