I wish Aarti and the children well. Look at the contrast between dishonest politicians and honest civil society. The comparison. She is selfless. Politicians are selfish. She wants to spend the little money she has. Politicians want to mint money. We have lot of Indians who are doing good things one way or other. We have few politicians who do the other way

INDIAN BROTHERHOOD
by asid on Jul 04, 2011 02:25 PM

Well this is the problem in Indian society. The discrimination on sex line. Girls don’t have to study as they are considered a commodity as well as pride and honor of the house. Which one is correct? I don’t understand except to consider it a kind of hypocrisy. Chit mera aur pat bhi mera. It is used when you have to criticize one school of thought or religion comparing with other ignoring the fact that the same situations prevails in most of the houses in India irrespective of religion line. Criticizing Hinduism on women rights raising sati pratha, bal vivah, female feticide, deva dasi etc. criticizing Islam on women rights raising parda, number of marriage though dharmendra converted to islam to marry hema malini, talak. You will find people considered of repute defending such nonsense against women. Jago india – lets correct our society out of the clutches of dharmagurus and mullas.

First of I would like to thank Rediff to highlight the achievement of common people. Now-a-days we are bombarded with all kind of masala stuff in the name of breaking news. It really heartening to see that Rediff bring the stories of common people facing numerous obstacles yet giving a meaning to their lives.
